Can you believe he is finally home? Is it just me, or was that the longest almost 4 weeks EVER?
We are relieved, happy and exhausted :) I'm certain that the exhaustion isn't going anywhere...for whatever reason, the hospital folk think 2 a.m. is the time to bathe small children, so I'm sure we're in for a few long nights, but no biggee :) It just feels good to have everyone where they're supposed to be again.
We have a follow-up with our pediatrician (who has already called to check on him....best doctor's office and doctor ever) next week, and a CT scan and a follow up with Gruber the week after. His fontanelle is very sunken again, so I was kind of surprised they turned us loose today, but once we got the word, you better believe I wasn't going to question it :)
Mac has been a little delicate and fussy today....all the kids are kind of overwhelming him, he has been happiest in our bedroom in his little bed with the lights off and door closed. He isn't sleeping, just hanging out, catching up with the ceiling fan :)
Thanks for checking in on him!
So thankful Mac is home and the family is together again!
