Mac had a follow-up with his pediatrician on Thursday and weighed in at 7 lb 1 oz! Woohoo! I'm hoping that at some point here (soon?!) he'll be able to transition to just nursing. This bottle feeding thing is totally cramping my style. His head had grown a bit more than it should have, and his fontanelle is a little too full, so our wonderful ped. called the neurosurgeon and they want to see us on Monday instead of in July like we had originally planned. He's been throwing up (the real deal--not normal baby spitting up) since yest
erday afternoon, so we need that to slow down and fast. Hopefully it was just something not settling well and we can make it to Monday when we get him checked out again. He's not acting any differently, though, which is nice! Still just his sweet little self.

The "bigs" had a fun day yesterday at a race! The Ironman is this weekend, and each year they put on a little kids fun run. Quincy, Jack and Tucker were all 3 big enough this year, and we bumped into some school friends, which was a treat! Quincy and Jack were very speedy--Jack especially....as hard as I tried, I didn't see him at all! Tucker ran with Jeff, and in typical Tucker style, crashed hard within the first five seconds and was carried part of the way, and limped the rest. He is still nursing his skinned knee today :)

We also had our first beach day of the summer earlier in the week. The water is FREEZING, and the river is really low and is moving pretty fast. Needless to say, we didn't last long in the water :)
